Acquaint - Redefining Atlanta’s commute. Biking is better.

Acquaint is a FREE event hosted by Citizen Supply a few times a year which focuses on a specific topics. This round we are discussing Bike life in Atlanta with an all star panel including Atlanta Planning Commissioner Tim Keane, founder of Edison Bicycles Inc. Ryan Hersh, and Executive Director of Atlanta Bike Coalition, Rebecca Serna. This panel will come around the topics like biking solutions that are planned for Atlanta's future, the increase in two wheeled commuting, revitalization of this city, and many more. The panel will also open up to the floor for questions on anything that wasn't discussed.

Tim Keane : Commissioner of Planning and Community developement for the City of Atlanta. He is currently focused on inovation in housing, revitalization, preservation, and transportation.

Ryan Hersh : Founder of EDISON Bicycles Inc. With advanced degrees in both technology and business, and a project management career at EMORY. The costs associated with Atlanta’s traffic moved him to create a solution; one that resolves all of the traditional challenges faced by 2+ million Atlantan car-commuters.

Rebeccas Serna : Served as the Executive Director of the Atlanta Bike Coalition since 2007. Prior to joining ABC, Serna served as President and co-founder of Citizens for Progressive Transit, and has served on the boards of Georgia Bikes as President and Vice-President and EarthShare of Georgia. She currently serves on the Alliance for Biking and Walking and Sopo Bicycle Cooperative boards. Awards include Woman of the Year (Women in Transportation Seminar), Advocate of the Year (Alliance for Biking and Walking) and the Longleaf award (Georgia Conservancy).
